1 day at a time to rebuild, I know this is not easy and everyone is very anxious- we are all in this together and all feeling the pain.I am sure most of you have had a chance to read Travis’s state of the nation..
I wanted to give you an update on a few items:
*** Hurricane Helene Recovery: State of Florida are offering so much support & information for all, this website is full of information pertaining to clean up, financial assistance , temporary housing, help of so many kinds, Please take the time to go through this information, seeking the help you may need- ( division of emergency management ) Home | Florida Disaster ( look up Hurricane Helene ) https://www.floridadisaster.org
It is highly recommended to register for FEMA ASAP- as well as the HOA to register with FEMA + contact your insurance company right away
Utilities: John M., confirmed all power was disconnected by the pole- many folks were advising us the fire department did this- but it is now done- thanks John

Please please take great caution if & when your power is restored, for any standing water- for electrical fires is a very high risk
Debris & Clean Up
- Clean Up Crews Outside: – will be on site Tuesday to clean up around the Park- debris & outside items, stored unwanted
- Clean Up Crews Inside- if you need assistance mucking out the place- the same company Instaservice Corp will be onsite starting Tuesday and will assist outside & inside as requested by individuals – for those onsite you need to approach the crew ,MOLD will be starting to grow very quickly
- IF you are not onsite 1. you need a key holder and 2. decision maker Keep or Trash ? 3. you can then contact Caesar 727-678-1497
- OR if you prefer The state of Florida has assistance for ” inside cleanouts” please refer to the website I mentioned above https://www.floridadisaster.org ( look up Hurricane Helene)
- Clean Up Bins ( XL containers)- will be on site Tuesday- for any to use
- County continues to do regular garbage pick up, so continue to store all unwanted items at curbside- the county has requested to keep items separated if possible in your piles; debris, appliances, electronics, cleaning chemicals; to assist with easier pick up
- PLEASE ENSURE NOT TO BLOCK THE ROADWAY- FOR SAFETY REASONS & EMERGENCY VEHICLES TO ACCESS

The Park Website ( under NEWS) will be updated on a regular basis , along with the continuous emails from Travis & the Board- more to come as we move forward with the planning. Plus as last email I shared reference to Facebook- folks sharing .We are looking to see how feasible it is to set up a type of “command center” as the Clubhouse ,or the Park office are not useable, along with how & when we can organize a HOA meeting, we will do our best to keep everyone involved & informed.
- Ed Nieves I will look you up once at the Park this week and definitely leverage your FEMA knowledge for the HOA & individuals- thank you for stepping up so ( Ed has already emailed information out)so more to come on this
Hard to stay positive I know, – but let’s continue to work together to then figure out the future, at this moment the focus is on :Cleanout .. Cleanup.. & Communications
and then : Damage assessment, financial management & long term recovery, its a long long road ahead. Keeping in mind we may all be in different stages in this Recovery.
