Hello Sea Horse Park Homeowners Association
This is a communique about some good news regarding a new Committee that has recently formed with 5 volunteers who have stepped up. This new committee is called the Sea Horse Park Rules and Regulation Committee with 3 main objectives. I had recently explained this new committee with names and objectives at the January 18th, 2024 board meeting. The Sea Horse Park legal status filed back in 1986 as Declaration of Condominium, therefore falls under the Florida Statutes for Condominiums & HOA. ( Home Owner Association)
We have been receiving feedback that some people are upset that the rules and regulations are not being enforced, or that some people aren’t aware of the rules & regulations, or simply want items addressed quickly so we feel this is going to help that overall situation. We want to listen to you and we also want to ensure the rules are applied fairly and evenly across all neighbors .
- Ongoing inspections of properties/ units- Visual Inspections ,without entering the property with the exception of going to the door. If any violations or concerns are noted the committee will either speak with the homeowner or leave a door knocker with details of required improvements.
- Review the current Sea Horse Rules and Regulations document, see what needs to be updated, modified, removed, added, changed to bring current. This committee will then be making recommendations to the board and discussed in Board meetings prior to any changes. All changes approved will then be communicated to Homeowners.
- The committee has also asked that there be a new form created: – Issues or Concerns for any homeowners to use when they are concerned about something. This form will go to the committee only- not the office or the board – your signature is optional. The committee will review the issues or concerns and see what action can be taken, if you provide your signature they will get back to you on the status. A very simple method to deal with your concerns or issues. Copies will be available in the office or on our website + added to the Self-Serve Desk in the back of the clubhouse. The form is attached ( see below) in case you wish to see the form. This is separate from the complaint log – as that goes to the Office and or Board to address- as your signature is required to action and to respond back.
If you have any questions or concerns please let me know. Please be respectful to these folks if they approach your property or come to talk with you, they are volunteers ensuring we are all following and aware of the HOA rules & regulations. They will identify themselves as the Rules & Regulation committee as well. If you do require a current copy of the Rules & Regulations document- they are available on our website under Park Documents OR if you prefer a paper copy you may request this from the office. As Homeowners if you have Renters and/or Visitors, you are responsible to ensure they are aware of the Rules and Regulations plus must have a copy available in the unit please.
