Dear Homeowners
On behalf of the Board of Directors just a reminder about ( *Construction) see footnote #1 for in the Park, you will find this information in our:
Sea Horse Homeowners Association Inc Rules and Regulations: #18 Construction- more details can be found there
A copy of these rules are on the Sea Horse Park Website ( Link to Website) or can be requested from the office
This is a simple view of the process explained
Sea Horse Park Association Procedure for Construction by owner
( construction meaning *additions of new docks and external add-ons to existing units or property )
so mainly a change in footprint:
- Owner submits diagrams and detailed descriptions to the office.
- The office-Travis reviews paperwork.
- If no problems/concerns , the office-Travis: time and date stamps application ** see footnote #2
- The office-Travis makes copies for all Board members.
- Board members review construction projects & details & potential onsite visit. Project is listed under New Business on the meeting agenda.
- The Maintenance Director and/ or board member suggests approval or disapproval.
- Board approves or disapproves project via vote at Board Meeting
- Owners are notified of the decision by writing from The office-Travis.
- footnote#1 applies to additions of new docks and external add-ons to existing units or property :
- footnote **#2: additional step : exception is during summer months then a summer construction committee reviews and advises the board in writing of their decision to the board to approve at Board Meeting ( as traditionally the board meetings were more seasonal or special requests, therefore in order to approve construction projects in a timely manner and not delay homeowners request)
- NOTE residents are responsible for all their own permits
Thank You
